Good Tidings Gifts exists to assist employers in expressing appreciation for their team members through holiday gifts. Our certificates are accepted in grocery stores throughout the United States and are good for any brand.
Good Tidings Gifts is the brainchild of Justin VanderLinden and Dan Reed and is referred to by us as our midlife crisis (being too big to fit in sports cars and too ugly to have affairs). When we first met in our late 30’s Justin was a successful contractor and Dan was a reformed attorney who ran a title company. We bonded over a shared love of outdoor adventure and well cooked meat products. Canyoneering and boating trips followed. In 2023 we hiked the entire width of Great Britain together, along with some of our kids. And yet despite both being “deeply annoying” (direct quote from Justin’s teenage daughter) and “old and lame” (direct quote from Dan’s teenage daughter), we still enjoy each other’s company to the point that we want to work together in addition to adventuring together. We have loved our careers to this point and the great people we have worked with. But Good Tidings Gifts was just too much fun to pass up. We travel the country together talking to amazing HR professionals throughout the year and then we hunker down in November and December printing and shipping certificates. It’s a pretty freaking good life.
We are a family business. No shareholders, no board of directors, no bureaucracy. Just two best friends living the American dream. Every aspect of our business is handled by us or our wives and children, from printing the certificates to answering the phones to interfacing with grocery stores.
