How does it work?2025-08-26T15:56:39-06:00

You tell us how many certificates you want and at what price level (available in $5 increments from $15 to $50) and we print and ship the certificates to you. You give them to your employees or organization members and everyone feels appreciated and valued. Your employees/members take the certificate to any grocery store in the United States and redeem them. They feel great appreciated again!! They take the food home and cook it and then feel valued yet again while eating it.

Many studies have shown that employees place a high premium on the relationship they have with their employer. Human beings naturally perform better when we feel appreciated. Simply put, an employee who feels valued and appreciated works harder and wants stability in their job more than an employee who doesn’t feel their employer cares. One of the advantages of our certificates vs gift cards or gift baskets is that we are providing you with three distinct moments where your employees will feel your love: at reception of the gift, at redemption of the gift, and at consumption of the gift.

Where can my people redeem their gift certificate?2025-08-26T15:52:35-06:00

At any grocery store in the United States that accepts coupons. Certificates can be redeemed FOR ANY BRAND!

How long will it take to receive my order?2025-08-26T15:57:41-06:00

We can generally ship the same day you order, as long as it’s before 2:00 pm. Otherwise it goes out the next working day. However, during busy seasons such as Thanksgiving or Christmas order times may lengthen, so please order in advance.

What if I order too many certificates?2025-08-26T15:58:03-06:00

As long as they have not expired, we will refund you in full for any unused certificates which you return to us.

Are Good Tidings gift certificates taxable as income to the employee? Do we need to run them through payroll?2025-08-26T15:58:47-06:00

Generally, no. Holiday gifts are specifically excluded by the IRS de minimis fringe benefit rule, so long as they are of minimal value and meet certain other requirements. This is why our certificates are NOT redeemable for cash, and why they are only good for specific items.

We are not tax experts, and we encourage you to consult a tax professional for your specific situation.

Can we personalize the certificates?2025-08-26T15:59:09-06:00

Yes, absolutely. At no extra cost. We want your logo on the certificate to remind the recipient who is giving them this gift!
